Mom, Dad, and two kids ( a teen and a ten year old) went here twice in a week. Large schools of yellow tangs. Lots of triggers, wrasses and the usual butterfly too. Water is super clear and the coral really beautiful. The entry point...More

My daughters and I went to snorkel at Two Step based on many recommendations. Parking is at a premium here. We parked in the $5 church parking. My girls had a great time and saw many different species. I was a little beat up by...More

We were there on a Wednesday afternoon at low tide. It was not too crowded and we were able to get free parking close by. I dropped into the water off the "two steps" and was immediately mesmerized by the world of underwater beauty! 100...More

We tried out this spot based on some write-ups we read from Snorkel Bob's. This spot has great snorkeling but also presents challenges. It is just north of the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park but is not part of the park. There is a...More

Great snorkeling. Dolphins swam around some of those snorkeling for a bit then swam away. Volcanic rock beach so if not swimming bring a deck chair. Small amount of sand but covered with lots of water high tide. Next to state park, that costs $5...More

We were brought here by locals and so glad they did. We had our own equipment and snorkeled several places in the Kona area and this was the best. A reasonably well protected bay so the larger currents are not there. Amazing variety of fish....More

Many dolphins over there. Nice view and clear ocean water. You could stay there the whole time in the water.

Popular with tourists but great place to swim and enjoy the reef. Bring reef shoes to save your feet.Visit the National Park next door for an added treat.

Really 2 spots here at the end of the road; a snorkelling spot and a state park adjacent to it. The snorkeling is great, but mostly lava rock beachside. The state park cost money to go in; however a great little village laid out, decent...More
