On our two week's trip through the northern Rocky Mountains and Plains we stopped at the Northeastern Wyoming Welcome Center on I-90. There the docent practically ordered us to approach our eventual goal of Yellowstone NP ONLY through Sheridan and then take the drive over...More

The mountain is what is best of summer & winter sports, camping, fishing, hiking. We love it so much we want it to stay un-crowded!

Drove from Pittsburgh PA to Bighorn. The campground we stayed in was awesome! 5 campsites on a forest service road 20 miles long. It took it almost 2 hours to drive in. Well worth it! Solitude
