The Carbon County Museum in Rawlins, Wyoming is very nice. It is updated and free to get in (although donations are always very much appreciated). There is a small, one room school house on the property (they will unlock for you to look inside) and...More

Enjoyed the Carbon County Museum. Lots of interesting local history here. The museum is bigger on the inside than it looks. Worth a visit. Free but takes donations.

Stuck for several nights with snow closure of I-80. Good place to spend an afternoon. Make sure to get the docent to share the full story of George. Lots of other interesting stuff to see. Great museum hosts.
