This is a super place to visit and learn. There are interesting items and artifacts to study and read about. History and extinct animals are found here. Have a wonderful time and don't forget to walk around the beautiful campus of the University of Wyoming.

I recommend you stop in to this museum located on the campus of the University of Wyoming. The exhibits are casts of fossils found in Wyoming, including Big Al (an allosaurus) and the largest display- an Apatosaurus. There is information about woolly mammoths that roamed...More

We came to see the Big Al replica, and they also have an Apatasaurus replica as well. You can spend about an hour here, maybe less with small kids. Parking is a challenge, be prepared. Laramie is a cute town in a beautiful setting, glad...More

Great little museum. World class dinosaur fossils and other fossils.minerals. About an hour or so. Kid friendly. Friendly staff.

I learned a few things I didnt know. It's worth a 10 minute stop into this compact litte museum on campus. Make sure you try and throw a pine cone into the dino's mouth outside the entrance.

We were on a dig with the museum at Casper College and on a rainy day, were lucky enough to be able to tour the museum with the curator. Awesome

Nice skeletons and parts of dinosaurs with wonderful history. Very educational and the children enjoyed playing in the Augmented Reality Sandbox making hills, mountains and water. It doesn't take much time to walk around the displays and is worth seeing if you pass through Laramie....More
