This was our 3rd winter trip to Jackson and each year we rent equipment from Teton Mountaineering. This year, it was cross-country skis and snowshoes. Both times the staff were super friendly and helpful and made the process easy. Definitely recommend!

Teton Mountaineering was still in the old Crabtree hotel building when I bought my first climbing rope there in 1980, And an ice axe with Yvon Chouinard's name on it. It has since moved to North Broadway where helpful sales people have outfitted me for many enjoyable backpacking and mountaineering trips into the outdoors. Many come just for the outdoor... More

Teton Mountaineering has an extensive selection of gear and much better prices then on the mountain. If you plan to enjoy the outdoors during your visit to Jackson and the Tetons stop in before you head out.

I recently had new bindings mounted on my skis. Not only did they do the job quickly but they also took the time to discuss the new skis and the mounting process with me. Great job as always. Love TM!

Love Teton Mountaineering. They have always provided professional and quality service. The prices are a bit steep and you can find a better deal around town. This is the only reason I rated them a four.

Great assortment of gear and clothing. Staff was very friendly and helpful but didn't hover around us or pressure us to purchase. Found 2 great coats on sale. Would definitely return.

the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing and helpful. Anyone who says otherwise lacks a personality themselves. I highly recommend this store.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff even to us greenhorns from FL. Get your boots here as you can test them up and down and they do not pressure you for a sale. They know what they are doing.
