Visiting Jackson for a week and the highlight of our trip was the private snow mobile tour provided through Scenic Safaris. As we stayed in Jackson for the week the south entrance was our gateway into the park, and Scenic Safaris did an amazing job of providing our tour arrangements and taking care of everything. Our guide Zach picked us up at our condo and provided transportation to their hub where we got outfitted and went over the details of the tour. From there Zach drove us though Teton national park and into Yellowstone taking care of EVERYTHING along the way. Once we got to the south entrance and had a quick overview of the snow mobiles we will be riding all day away we went. Zach took us to some AMAZING sites and kept us on track all day providing an excellent tour that involved stops for wildlife , a stop at old faithful , biscuit basin and many other scenic spots on the 94 mile round trip tour. This was a long day and Zach took care of everything for us even a quick stop for a sunset photo at one of the Teton overlooks on the way back. Thank you Scenic Safaris and a big thanks to Zach for making this trip unforgettable and a true bucket list item!

Scenic Safaris managed our 3 couple, 3 day/2 night, private snowmobile expedition of Yellowstone in January, out of Jackson Hole, WY. There are a lot of moving parts to review on this trip so I will try to keep it dedicated to Scenic's performance. Our air fare and arrival/departure hotel accommodations were not included in Safaris package and were paid for separately. I don't need to know about any other outfitter for this trip. Scenic was cordial, trustworthy, punctual, organized, and professional. Our party was picked up by our guide Kris, on time early AM and shuttled to the outfitter. We were sized and provided monosuits, boots and helmets. They inventoried our gloves and socks for opinions and adequacy (to stay warm). We were then shuttled to Flagg Ranch where we were given a quick course on the snowmobiles. The snowmobiles were new, in great shape and had heated seats and handlebars by the way. It took us about 10 miles or so of anxiety to become confident on these vehicles. Park speed limit is 35mph. Suffice it to say these vehicles easily achieve 2x that speed. They are easy to learn and great fun to drive. Our guide Kris was an expert on park geology, geography, history and wildlife. He lead us around safely stopping at every point of interest. His timing was impeccable. His routes were perfectly timed to exit the park no earlier than we had to. When we arrived at our hotel, Kris managed all the check in/out, billing and arranged our brown bag lunches for the next day's adventure. He even helped with the luggage. Dining out, Kris managed all the reservations, bill and tip. (alcohol is not included). Our last day we exited the park actually 10 mins past due from when we supposed to, point being; Kris provided us with every available minute inside the park. Once we arrived back at Flagg Ranch we were quickly loaded up and shuttled back to our hotel. Scenic and Kris made sure our trip went smoothly, with zero drama, trouble or problems. He made sure we were always warm (important). We always felt safe and in good hands. The adventure of Yellowstone in January on a snowmobile is a moving experience. Don't second guess if you would enjoy it or not. You will. Book with Scenic Safaris and you will not be disappointed. REQUEST KRIS!

Our family are frequent fliers with Scenic Safaris. This year we opted for a snowmobile crossing of the great divide. Due to COVID our tour was private and this allowed for a great deal of play in the deep powder of the high meadows. Our powder machines were fast with excellent torque to launch and maintain your momentum in the deep pow! The days ride was about 68 miles of trail, trees and open meadows. We lunched at the Brooks Lake Lodge and the food was fantastic. Given the opportunity make a stop at Brooks. Our guide was Joe Harris and he made our trip. Great knowledge of the geological history of the Tetons. Jon provided a wealth of information on the local deer, bear, elk, moose, and bison populations. If you are seeking outdoor fun with a guide choose Scenic Safaris.

This was a great way to spend Christmas Day. Bobbie picked us up at our hotel and spent the day showing us Yellowstone. It was a beautiful day ... -16 degrees in the park, but the sun was shining and no wind. He stopped and showed us views and waterfalls that most visitors probably drive right on by, and got us to Old Faithful about 10 minutes before it erupted. We then went to other geyser areas and mud pots. He was very knowledgeable about wildlife and geologic features, and he also packed us an excellent breakfast and lunch! You won't be disappointed with this tour. Almost forgot to mention that we saw bison which was on my bucket list.

Due to COVID the group tours were cancelled but we were able to do the private snowmobile tour. Will was an amazing tour guide - were the first in Yellowstone and the last tour to leave the park. We did around 120 miles during the day. It was simply amazing. We can’t recommend enough. Old Faithful, geothermal springs, other geysers, Lewis Lake, waterfalls, etc. a must do.
