Driving by the sculpture several times on the way to Yellowstone or the Tetons, I finally decided to stop in. Although it looks small from the street, this is not a little roadside attraction. It goes 2-3 levels down into the mountain and has 8 different galleries. Very impressive and worth the time.

This isn't your typical museum. This museum has the kind of art work that you would see in nature. Front the welcome desk to the gift shop you find nature in many forms. I was amazed at all the different ways nature takes form. As we moved from room to room we found new ways that wildlife can be represented.... More

This is a great place to spend a couple of hours. It is beautifully positioned overlooking the elk refuge. The architecture of the facility is very nice and appropriate. The artistic offerings are spectacular! There is a nice museum store on site. Unfortunately the snack shop was being remodeled and was closed. Fortunate to see a wolf pack at work... More

Located on a hillside between the town of Jackson and the Tetons, this museumoffers an insight into Indian and western lore with sculpture, paint and other modalities making it well worth the visit. I'm tired of museums but this one is worth your consideration

The museum for us was a one time visit not because we didn't like what we saw but we were expecting more Native American art. There are some beautiful paintings and bronze statues.

The hubs and i toured the museum while the kids went skiing. The art is breathtaking. It is across the road from the Elk Sanctuary so it's a two for one deal.

A great way to feel like you are still outside on a cloudy day. Art is magnificent along with the wonderful bronzes. Families would all like this.

The wildlife art is great and it is a first class art museum, the staff is very helpful and the building itself is beautiful. Easy to get to and although I did not have the time to visit on this latest trip I have been there twice before.

From the drive the building looks on the small side BUT once inside it is quite large and filled with some of the very best wildlife art that I have ever seen. The pieces appear to come alive right off the canvas. We were fortunate to have a dinner prepared by them and a personal tour and explanation of the... More

Even if you are just a beginner in art appreciation this had a lot of different aspects to it. I enjoyed the display on how bronzes were made and the entries in the duck stamps by young students. The artest studio with time lapse painting interested me as well. Several in our group were grandparents and all agreed the children's... More
