This place was extremely congested. The gift store was ok and the information center was ok. The taxidermy was actually the highlight of the building.

My family went here when it was about -20 out, so it is definitely great for bad weather days. I was very surprised by how many incredible works of art were featured in such a small place in Wyoming. Pieces range from paintings, sculptures, to prints. There is also a fantastic room to view the elk refuge that is directly... More

Did not expect this museum to offer so much. Extensive exhibits of all art forms from National Park posters to sculpture and paintings displayed in a modern museum. The famous Bateman portrait of a Bison was stunning.

How special it is to have a National Art museum right here in Jackson Hole. You don't want to miss this place if you're just passing through or if you're staying for awhile. They have a few rooms with temporary collections that change frequently, but my favorite room is their Carl Rungius collection. Rungius was a true master of wildlife... More

Love love love the kid area. It's very creative, recommend for kids 3 yrs to 8 yrs. I believe they offer a FREE day once a month - not sure the deal is still going on for locals.

Wow - amazing exhibits and art! I would highly recommend a visit to this museum with a beautiful collection of nature art. The building itself is a work of art. Great gift shop too.

My favorite painting Robert Bateman's The Chief. There are rotating exhibits. The gift shop is wonderful. I bought a small totem pole about 4 years ago. It is in my office and reminds me of the museum. The cafe had fabulous views and very good food.

Stone exterior is beautiful as it blends into the hill is sits up against. Reception was excellent - pleasant greeting and talk us up just a bit. It was the week after Christmas and decorations were still up....that was nice. The art is wonderful. From paintings to sculpture, and many informative placards throughout which really added to the experience. We... More

If you love wildlife this is a must. The stacked stone building is a work of art. Drive the winding road to be greeted by massive wildlife sculpture. Simply magnificent. The interior is a work of art. Albert Bierstadt to George Catlin and Carl Rungius. Fantastic.
