We were staying across the road at the Cody Hotel and popped over. This fairly cheap museum is set up like an old western town and each cabin has real and replica items inside detailing the lives of cowboys etc. Definitely worth a stop.

For a UK visitor, used to seeing things like this, it's not so amazing, but it is worth the €9 to take a look. The houses are real, brought in and rebuilt from all over Wyoming, to make up a little street of old frontier...More

A quick stop at Old Trail Town just in town for Yellowstone. It's something to do on down time. Should check it out if in town.

We walked through this relocated group of buildings and visited the grave sites. It is a self guided tour. You ready the brochure map as you walk up and down the "street" and the buildings are labeled as well. Some of the buildings were filled...More

I really wanted to like this place, but to me it was a hodge podge of meshed together cabins and items of insignificance. All of the cabins are very musty and dusty, so beware to allergy sufferers. As my mom put it, the place smelled...More

This is a must see for anyone visiting the Cody area. REAL and I mean REAL of western things and structures as they would have been 100+ years ago. The gift shop alone is worth the visit. For all ages.

It was very cool learning about western history and the kids loved it. You can see all the historic cabins and shops. The graves are cool too

Drive thru and check out the cannons, artillery, and other remnants of this small area. The houses are still the same. I'm pretty sure the road hadn't changed a lot either! But so neat to check out.

Old Trail Town is on the original location of the start of Cody, WY. It has authentic cabins of famous western characters as well as the graves of Jeremiah Johnson (Johnston) and others

No, there is a fee, but you pay inside the old western store (first building). There is no official wrist band or entrance. I think it was $8 each, but I'm not positive.

I'm sorry that I can't be more helpful. We visited Old Trail Town and the cemetery, but I don't recall seeing Buffalo Bill's grave. It might have been there, but we missed it. Old Trail Town is definitely worth a visit if... More
