After seeing a couple recent reviews and driving through Cody, we visited the museum to find a vacant building. Then checked the website and it states that is closed up shop and moved to California. Now reading more articles that this was sold in May...More

It is this kind of museum that really makes travel so fun. It is so well done the whole family will love it. The scenes are really good and once again the history is great. Fun visit!

The whole collection was sold to someone in California. Was a little bummed about not seeing this as it is advertised everywhere, So dont bother stoping

While basically looks like a gift shop, in the back for a small charge there are extensive miniature-figure dioramas of many western topics, plus a first-class set of display cases of native Indian clothing and articles. On west edge of town, south side.
