Lots of hiking trails and some opportunities to boat and kayak on Granite and Crystal. Overnight camping also available. I think there is also a company out of Colorado (wish it was a WY company) that offers SUP rentals and kayaks but they're usually booked...More

While the rangers weren't super helpful with the first-come, first-served camping spots (which are all dry), I still ended up with a cozy spot on my own little knoll overlooking the lake. Apparently, the sites with hookups are only by reservation. Did the Stone Mountain...More

We are from Arizona and we went to this park not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. It is very pretty with rolling hills, trees and the lake. It looks like a wonderful place to camp, fish, kayak, paddle board, archery coarse, etc....More

Drove this amazingly beautiful park in mid morning when the lakes were populated by many Canadian geese. Many antelope & deer spotted. Rock formations & beautiful lakes everywhere, could not stop taking pics!

Curt Gowdy is a wonderful place to go hiking or mountain biking. The lakes are so beautiful and the hidden falls is a little hike, but a beautiful one.

A decently equipped, large size kitchen, bathrooms with two stalls, plenty of tables and chairs (cloth chairs rather dirty), cleaning supplies and garbage bags supplied, upstairs beds with a divider available in the storage shed. Good heat downstairs but cold upstairs. Nice scenery outside for...More

My wife and I visited the park for the first time and we were amazed at the 3 lakes, the well developed camping sites, and the extensive trail system for hiking and biking. The place was jumping - since it was the first nice weekend...More

Was a nice spring day, but a long drive and not really a lot when I got there. Not a lot of history to describe the area.

Plan on visiting transferred Air Force daughter and son in law in Cheyenne in early June. Would like to fish there. Any good spots for novice fisherman and family outing? Also, slot limits or length or numbers for fish taken there? Thank you and looking forward to it. (PS. I am a recent heart transplant recipient, any handicapped/disability facilities available?

Agree with Fred W.'s advice to check in with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. I recommend that you stop in at the Game and Fish headquarters just off of I-25 at the Central Avenue Interchange, on the NW corner and... More

There are maps on the State Parks website. I would include the link but it is not allowed so go to Wyoming State Parks website and look up Curt Gowdy.
