Walked through this beautiful and peaceful old cemetery as the final part of our weekend in Cheyenne to attend a paranormal convention. It's well taken care of, the old headstones are fascinating and it's so interesting to think about the lives of all the people, what hardships they endured and what life must have been like back in the day.

Lake View is a great place to look into some of the history of the city. Historical graves abound. Walking tour brochures are available at the main office. Many graves past governors, law makers, pioneers , and outlaws abound. There is even a Native American woman and child interned at Lake View. Take as long as you want to explore... More

Have been here many times and it is very interesting to read the epitaphs and it is very easy to walk or drive through here. There is usually enough space to pull to one side to allow another car to pass by. Lots of history.

Its a huge cemetery which I guess when you stop and think most are. The cemetery can have a car driven through but it might be better to walk seeing as how most of its gravel and dirty and would easy make driving a car through a pain. The cemetery is well taken care of spans a couple of blocks... More

This cemetery is so historic and you have to walk all around and see who is buried there and how many years, years back. Very well maintained. Lots of shade trees and gives you a feel of the ole west at its best in time

One of three or four cemeteries all clustered together but this one seemed the nicest with the lush green grass and lots of trees. Well manicured.

Very nice. Sometimes has antelope strolling around. A few historic graves such as boy that Tom Horn was hung for killing and portuguese Phillips. Also my parents have a grave reserved here.

This cemetery is part of a bigger cemetery. This section is the oldest part of the cemetery, if I remember right. It is free and tours can be taken! Pretty neat if you like history!
