What a gem! We visited this place as part of the trolley tour, and liked it so much we went back later and paid to go in. The display of Western art was marvelous, and the gift shop yielded lots of souvenirs that were reasonably...More

I enjoyed this museum since I have never been able to go to a Frontier Day. It only took 30 minutes to go through it and I did watch the movie for a little while.

The lady working there was extremely polite and told us alot about the museum before we went in there. Once inside we were met by a lovely exibition filled with Western era history and 20th century rodeo.

A tribute to Lane Frost is a wonderful way to start off this museum. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about Cheyenne Frontier Days the daddy of em all. Also includes a nice exhibit by Wyoming artists. I always enjoy and find something new when...More

If you enjoy local history then this a "must see". We are from Maryland and learned a lot about the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days and enjoyed a variety of exhibits. Extensive collection of horse drawn carriages was wonderful. Posters about WWI military recruiting. Highly...More

If Rodeo is your thing - then you've found a place that you really should visit. Great art, posters and history of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. The coaches, carriages and other 'horsey' gear is amazing and really high quality. This is worth the look...More

Went here as part of a three museum pass we bought at the Cheyenne depot. Lots of old wagons and the history of the local frontier day events in the city. Brought to life what a cowboy does, the rodeo, and just simply a lot...More

Really enjoyed the Museum. The price was right and the displays were well done. Easy access to all floors and very unique options to view and experience.

Located on the grounds where the annual Frontier Days takes place, from the outside, this museum looks small. However, do not let first looks fool you. There is a lot to see and read! While much space is devoted to the former stars of the...More

I viewed the site and wanted to ask if there were any activities that me and my group could attend in the month of October ( mid October ). But alas, in this modern technological world, there was no email address provided for an overseas potential visitor to seek information. There is a local phone number and address. What I would like to know is if, in the 15 or 16 October, when I am visiting Cheyenne, would I be able to attend a rodeo activity? Maybe other trip advisor members could assist. Thanks. NK Chan

I didn]t see anything either. I know mid July they have rodeos for the Frontier Days. I suggest you do a search in the surrounding areas within a few hours of Cheyenne. I flew into Denver Colorado when I was out that way... More
