What a surprise gem of a museum. There were so many buggies-a first library bookmobile, a sheep wagon, a Prairie Schooner, chuck wagon, hearse, and so many, many more. I didn’t even realize there were so many different kinds. There is also memorabilia from Frontier...More

I wasn't expecting much out of this place, but it was bigger than I thought. A lot of interesting history of Cheyenne Frontier Days. Lots of wagons to look at and overall a nice place to stop for a history lesson. The gift shop has...More

I wish there was more of a history of rodeos, in general, and then history of this rodeo, instead of just a random collection of "junk." I wasn't impressed with the layout or with the information that was presented. I wouldn't recommend this museum to...More

This place you could get lost in time. I came here from Kansas. I finally got around to going to the Museum and I loved it. I loved the fact that some of our favorite singers were rodeo cowboys.

We found this by accident when visiting the Botanical Gardens. Very nice museum with many outdoor monuments and sculptures also.

Rooms filled with early horse carriages. Nothing special. The only other things on display were western art for sale and photos of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Lots of covered wagons in various styles, home fixtures, clothes etc from the frontier days. Well laid out telling a story.

This is my second time visiting the museum. The exhibits have changed, which made my second visit feel like the first time. You will find lots of history on the Frontier Days, rodeo champions, and tons of artifacts. It's a perfect size museum and easy...More

The museum is mostly carriages in terms of the main collections. There was also extensive artwork out which was very nice. The kids area did have a lot of dress-up areas and props for them to play with. Unfortunately, at $10/adult it's too overpriced in...More

I am not positive but unless it is a service dog I don't think dogs are allowed. The same would be true for the trolley history tour. I would suggest you call to verify if dogs are allowed inside.
