As of 2017, a Glacial Lake Cranberries marsh tour is only available when you stay at The Stone Cottage at Glacial Lake Cranberries or at LeChateau Bed and Breakfast.

Glacial Lake Cranberries has been producing cranberries for 140 years and is one of the oldest cranberry marshes in central Wisconsin. Harvest time is the most colorful time to take pleasure in a tour and appreciate the natural beauty of the cranberry wetlands. During a guided tour you will see cranberry harvest and view a cranberry production video, cranberry memorabilia, and cranberry collectibles. Harvest begins late September and continues through October. Please call to reserve The Stone Cottage. Although harvest time is the most popular time to visit because of the beautiful fall colors complimenting the seas of floating red cranberries, every season offers our guests something special and unique to see. Whether it's hiking, biking, or birding, a stay at The Stone Cottage is your unique country retreat. Please write, call, fax, or email us for further information.

We traveled almost eight hours to check seeing a cranberry harvest off our bucket list. This tour was better than we could have ever expected. We saw pretty much every step of the harvest. Do this! You will be glad you did.

This is an excellent 1.5-hour tour led by Mary and Phil at Glacial Lake Cranberry Farm, very informative and fun. It starts with a brief introduction of the cranberry farm by Mary, followed by a short video. Then everyone gets on the berry bus, led by Phil, to the adjacent cranberry bogs. Phil will show you the cranberry bogs in... More

The tour was great! We watched a video, heard some history on Glacial Lake Cranberry farm, tried some cranberries, and got a tour of the cranberry bogs in a bus during harvest. The owners did the tour & were very knowledgeable.

Traveled with our friends to Glacial Lake Cranberry Harvest Tour. It was one of the most informational tours we have ever been on. The day was mid 70's, so that was a great start. Next we watched a film and then we took a bus a watched the harvest of cranberries. My advise to anyone who likes to travel or... More

We toured the cranberry harvest with Phil. He does a great job with a through, not boring, educational trip to view cranberries being harvest. Go during the week to see it up close. It lasted a bitover an hour and I wasn't bored at all. Glad we made a special trip to see the harvest. Great pics too

Phil and Mary team up to give a great history of the cranberry production of WI as well of their farm in particular. It includes the Berrybus ride around bogs to see cranberries being harvested. They have a very nice gift shop for those with cranberries at heart. They have delicious dried cranberries that they raised and dried themselves. Get... More

This was very educational and a very positive experience! We saw the Cranberry harvest, from the 1930's to present. We were give an personal tour of the bogs, learning how the Cranberries grow all year to the time of harvest. We got a first hand look at how they are harvested today, very much different than the hand picking of... More

I received permission from one of the owners (Mary) to take a solo tour on my own in order to take a pictures of wildlife to submit to this page on Trip Advisor. I highly recommend... More

We toured this cranberry farm during a long weekend. We went a few days after harvest started. The tour lasts a little longer than an hour and is very informative. The family run business is quite impressive, and they are very versed at tours. Going on a weekend, you don't get to see the harvest in progress, bit you do... More

We recently visited Glacial Lake farm and took a cranberry bog tour. The owners, Mary and her husband Bill, handled the tour and manned the small gift shop. Great people, very dedicated. Mary is the third generation owner of the farm, this history of which was interesting in itself. I had NO idea what went into growing cranberries and, like... More
