Though Wisconsin Dells attractions are normally seen as a summer tourist destination, there are a multitude of indoor activities to do. Ripley's just so happens to be one of them. To answer your question simply: Yes. However, Ripley's alone is only a fraction of the fun. I would recommend pairing Ripley's with Wizard Quest if it is open. I do not know if Wizard Quest is open during winter months, but due to it being an indoor activity I will assume it is. I know as a fact that Ripley's is open during the winter season, as I had done research for a past summer vacation and noticed that it was open then. There is even a deal one can get, a combo deal for Wizard Quest and Ripley's Believe it or Not. I do not know if the combo is available during the winter months, but I assume it should be. It saved us in our family trip at least 10 dollars. It comes with a ticket to Wizard Quest, Ripley's and (for online purchases according to the website) a mini bag of popcorn. It is 14.99 for Wizard quest and Ripley's. (and 12.99 for a child) That is 30 dollars total. The combo is 20.99 so you save money. I recommend doing both if you possibly can. Ripley's is a fun museum, and Wizard Quest is a scavenger hunt like thing that also acts as a fantasy museum. Neither place discourages exploration, nor do they discourage just looking around the fantasy setting for 2 hours. If you didn't read all of this, just note this: Most indoor places at the Dells are open year round. If it is not an outdoor activity only (Noah's Ark, for example) it is likely open most of the year.
