This is a Horse Drawn Carriage ride through a scenic canyon. Drivers entertain guest with history facts and the lore of the canyon while charming you with their personality and wit. These tours are not scripted and are much more personal and interactive than other similar tours in the ares. The Beauty of the Draft Horses that pull the carriages is only topped by the Majesty of the Canyon itself! This is one of the original attractions that made Wisconsin Dells a major attraction and is still a must see today!

Even if the rest of the Wisconsin Dells hadn't been a huge disappointment, Lost Canyon Tours pulled that day of our vacation out of the dumpster. Our visit was in the middle of the tourist season yet, without reservations, we waited only a short time for our tour to begin - time we spent enjoyably walking around the grounds and... More

Amazed at the rock formations! Wish we would have had more time to do more tour boat rides! Want to go back!

Came down to the Dells for our Honeymoon to relax. Called ahead of time to confirm they would be open today 10.31.16. The female rep that answered the phone confirmed (rudely)10 am - 6 pm, both 10/30 & 10/31. We arrived at 4 pm today and were told that the horses just left and they wouldn't call them back. "We... We loved this horse drawn tour if the dells. Through the narrow passages and around the great dells. This is a must see for the whole family. We even took our little shihtzu whom they were more than welcome to accommodate.

My spouse and I went on this tour since we had never heard of it before in all the times we had been in the Dells. We were celebrating a recovery from a medical issue, and this was the perfect trip to do so. It is worth taking the time to find it, and when you do, you feel like... More

Maybe some people wouldn't enjoy it as much as we do, but any time we are in the Dell's we go to the Lost Canyon. The driver's are funny, but for a few years now we've had Chris. He's awesome! Really engages with the kids and adults alike. The horses are beautiful. And the scenery is stunning! It's worth it... More

If you are in the Wisconsin Dells area, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look up Lost Canyon and take the $12.00 tour of the canyon via a wagon and a couple of Belgian horses. Our tour guide was Chris who has been doing this for 30 years. He could have his own TV show. He is sooooo genuinely funny. The rope he... More

We live close to the Dells and never even heard of this place. We stumbled upon it and the trip, the scenery (riding in a cart through a ravine with Percheron horses slowly pulling the cart) was magical. This is a do not MISS experience. It would be perfect for couples, families with young or teen children.

This tour was one of the best parts of our trip. Chris the tour guide was excellent. He shared his knowledge and gave us quite a few laughs. The scenery is gorgeous! Bring a jacket because the tour does get chilly!
