We arrived on a mild June day at about 1PM and were disappointed because the deer weren't very active. Most of the whitetails were all congregated in a centralized covered area where they have some hay as bedding for them. I asked one of the...More

Had a great time feeding the deer. They also have goats and other animals too. The deer will walk up to you and let you feed them. I felt it is kind of on the expensive side for my taste, but it was a fun...More

We enjoyed walking through this deer park. They have quite a few deer, and they are not shy about coming for the food you can buy. We went mid-day and maybe they were full but in a few of the areas they were laying in...More

We went early afternoon in June. The deer in the first half couldn't care less that we were there, didn't eat the food, and had several ticks on them that we had to watch out for. After the back gate, we got to a bunch...More

Very cool to be that close to deer! Don't use all of your food in the first part, save some for the deer in the second half.

My boyfriend, James, and I decided to visit Wisconsin Dells for our 5 year anniversary (June 2017). While visiting the Timbavati Zoo across the street (which I also highly recommend) we saw that there was the Deer Park that advertised you could feed and pet...More

The kids had a blast. They loved being able to see all the animals and able to feed the deer. The deer were well mannered 😀 they waited for the feed and weren't all over you. Recommend!

The kids really enjoyed being able to feed the animals and pet them. They even were able to sit next to a few of the deer and pet them. Great time

The deer come right up to you and eat out of your hand. Very cool experience. Some can be a little aggressive so we had to pick up our toddler a couple times. Liked that it was very shaded and the staff was friendly.

I believe the park remains open in the rain as long as it's not storming.

^^^ Agree, about two hours. You can stay as long as you want though. If the weather is really nice when you go, the deer will be more active than when it's really hot.

can you use a car and drive through the park?

No. There are wide, paved paths through the park that are easy to run a wheelchair on if you aren't able to walk.
