Great Place to camp!

Nice clean campsites, many with lots of space. Very close to the Dells and other attractions for day trips. Only draw back is the traffic noise from 90/94 as the back side of... read more

Rocky Arbor State Park is an average park in an average town in the middle of an average state. If you like hiking and are bored of the other state parks then check this one out.

This was my first visit to this state park and I can't wait to go back! My boyfriend and I visited to go hiking, but I will say that the camping spaces looked great, with plenty of space between sites. The hiking was moderate to challenging, mostly due to a lot of roots in/throughout the paths, and due to a... More

We camped here to save money. The sites were good sized and surrounded by trees, so you had great privacy from other campers. While there are plenty of pit toilets around, we were sure to get a site near the main bath and shower house. If you are not close to that building you will need a bike to get... More

We knew we'd be indulging later at The Del Bar so an hour of hiking at Rocky Arbor took away our guilt. What a beautiful park. I'd love to go back and camp there. It's close enough to all the activities and restaurants the Dells area has to offer, but it's quiet.

Nice clean campsites, many with lots of space. Very close to the Dells and other attractions for day trips. Only draw back is the traffic noise from 90/94 as the back side of the park is along that corridor.

The campground itself is pretty decent and well cared for. We rented site 048 and weren't bothered by the sound of the highway too much. There were a crazy amount of daddy long leg spiders though (even by being outdoors standards), but it's possible we were there during spider mating season. The trails were ok and it's only a 20-30... Super clean, wooded, private sites. Bathrooms were well lit, they let us extend our trip and quiet hours weren't strictly enforced. Beautiful mountain setting. We will stay there again!

Went for hike to look around campground. Park was closed. Highway noise was very loud no matter where we walked. Park was close to downtown Wisconsin Dells.

Very beautiful. Less crowded than Devil's Lake. I liked that it is nice and close to the Dells attractions too.

The park was closed but we were able to park at the front entrance and walk into the park. The trail takes you on the bottom section of the park through wetlands and beautiful rock formations and then climb steps to hike on a higher terrain on the way back. Beautiful park . .would love to camp here!
