Gives you a great view of the area before the dam went up and the technology used by the artist. He used ground breaking technology, some he invented, and an interest in photography is well rewarded.

This is a must see -- esp if you are interested in photography. The photos are magnificent and it gives you a good 'picture' of the Dells from before it became the 'Dells" Interesting to gain a knowledge of how photography progressed.

We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised. Much history and wonderful photos. I kept thinking about the original floors we walked on and the history that they held. The staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. Well worth the price of admission.

Located in the heart of Dells tourist street you find this gem. The studio isn't big and takes about an hour to really cover it all, but it is quite interesting. Lots of great history of the area, the Ho-Chunk people and Bennett's contributions to...More
