My sons girlfriend and I stayed at the wilderness while the guys went hunting up north. We chose to stay in the condo. I have stayed here before and knew how nice they are. Bringing our stuff in wasn't fun due to parking and no...More

One of the best, if not the best, waterparks to stay at in Wisconsin Dells. Every location in the area has it's pros and cons, but Wilderness has something that will suite almost everybody's vacationing needs. Multiple indoor and outdoor waterpark location spread throughout the...More

Decided to try the wilderness after multiple visits to both Kalahari and a hula Vista over the years. Overall older and less “upkeep” of both rooms and parks. With 3 different water parks it was very hard to keep track of 4 children going from...More

It should be noted that my husband and I have been to the Wilderness 3 times, and every single one of those times was in the off season and it’s still the best resort in the Dells. The first time we stayed in a King...More

Visited on August 30. I like that this is for resort guests only. The Hurricane water slide. Located in Klondike Kavern. Find this one and enjoy a different thrill of a water slide. I've never experienced a variation like this before. Went down three times....More

We stayed one night. Got to the park at 9am and after getting our bracelets spent the day riding rides. We bought the fun passes. Enjoyed all those adventures. Had no problems getting checked in and our room was ready earlier than expected. One complaint...More

I go to the Wilderness at least twice a year. I always have a good time. Staff is friendly and lots to do at this resort. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars, is the expensive food and drinks. The prices seem...More

Lots of choices to choose from. Lot of people talk about the long distances to walk but i didn't think it was too bad, we hit up 2-3 indoor parks and 2 outdoor. Also did the pottery.

We stayed for two nights with two smaller children. This is definitely the best hotel in the Dells. The hotel met expectations in terms of accommodations and the water parks exceeded expectations. There is so much to do!! Besides Great Wolf Lodge, we wouldn't stay...More

Our family has stayed at Wilderness 7 or 8 times now. They have added to the park and updated other parts enough that we never get bored. Plenty to do inside, as we proved this visit when it was cold and cloudy most of the...More

No you can only go to the pools and water parks if you are staying at the wilderness. Trust me it's worth it because I've been to Kalahari where you can buy a day pass and I stayed there and it's frustrating to have to wait... More

I would call the resort to confirm because some of the cabins and condos are driving distance.

The condos are the furthest away from the Waterparks. However, they have shuttles to bring you all over the grounds by just pressing 0 on the hotel phone.
