We visited this science center on spring break as there were not a lot else around to do. My husband and I took our 2 year old and 12 year old. Both had a ton of fun! (as did we) We were there for about an hour and a half. At the end we rode in a roller coaster simulator.... More

We visited with our three young children, ages 2, 4, and 6. The 2 and 4 year old were free so we paid admission for 3 people. The kids all had a blast and us parents were entertained too! It's very nostalgic and my 4 year old was excited to see tangrams other puzzles that she is familiar with. Every... More

Tommy Bartlett passed away in 1998 and coincidentally this was the last time the Exploratory was updated. Whoever is in charge of running this attraction needs to open up their purse springs and start spending some of that Tommy Bartlett Estate cash. The virtual reality games were fun to play...back in 2000. The cost of $15.00 is simply out of... More

We had not been at this hotel in over 15 years and were pleasantly surprised at all there was to do. We were a little worried that the exhibits may be too babyish for our 13 year old son who loves science. Boy were we wrong. There was so much to learn and DO!! There is truly something for all... My family always enjoys going to the exploratory. There isn't much change in the place over the years but since it is activities to do it is still fun to come and redo things you've done before!

We miss the robots! That being said, this is a fun place for families with children 10 and under. Some of the activities were not working properly, but for the most part is was very good.

Not much has changed about this place since I visited in the 90s, but bringing my kids here was nostalgic and they loved it! Very hands on science lessons, experiments, and games. R2D2 welcomes you and introduces you to exploring. Entertaining throughout 4 sections. Coolest thing was lifting an SUV at the end and riding a bike across a high... More

My husband and I went for our honeymoon and were lucky enough to be all alone when we went through as it was an offseason. We had so much fun playing around with all of the different exhibits. Had it been full of little kids running around I don't think we would have liked it as much. Not sure we... More
