Had a fun time riding the ski lift up the mountain to the state park for some hiking. Nice experience for those non-skiers and snowboarders to experience the lift and take in some neat sights.

This is a great area for families and kids. There are many trails to walk, and there is also a shop on top of the hill to buy things (food, soda, water, souveniers, etc). You see deer all the time, and can also get an...More

We were guests for a wedding here. Loved it, beautiful and rustic. Lots of atmosphere. Full wall windows facing the ski hills. Gorgeous.

Had a blast running up the 2 mile stretch in the morning, while the incline was a difficult the decent felt great. Saw plenty of deer and nice friendly joggers all along the path.

They make snow whenever possible to guarantee an optimal skiing experience. They have invested each year in creating more runs and better lifts. The price is steeper than up north in Northern Michigan...but hey.....they are another 2 1/2 hours away....are you going to ski or...More

A great deal if you are local and get a season pass, but very pricey as compared to large ski resorts. Many fun runs to accommodate the whole family, the lines are never too long, and the staff are outstanding.

3 day family ski trip enjoyed by all but don't recommend the large cafeteria style restaurant. Greasy spoon. Go to the old stone building with large fireplaces an bar. Much better food and atmosphere. They also had live music.

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful place to ski in Wausau, WI. They take great care of the hills and make snow throughout the season. We are still skiing in late March most years.

Spring Skiing is not too bad depending if temperatures hold enough so snow doesn't melt. Trust me its no fun at all ridding on a Slurpee. It make for a very wet and unpleasant experience. But if they blow fresh snow you... More
