This is a beautiful and peaceful trail -- with packed dirt/gravel -- that is just perfect for long runs or bike rides. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I just rode our bikes on the Military Ridge Bike Trail from Mount Horeb to Dodgeville. The trail is in terrible condition and is very dangerous. There are many areas that are washed out with ruts. You can tell that the trail...More

This is one of our favorite local bike trails. Majority of the trail is crushed limestone so more suitable for mountain bike or hybrid. Some variation in elevation, but overall an easy ride. Much of the trail is quiet and away from bust highways (not...More

Two friends and I set out from the soccer fields in Verona and drove another car to the other end of that part of the trail.....about 5 miles. We crossed highways and walked along others and up into the hills, through a farmers land where...More

This trail actually runs by our home in Verona and we started riding daily in July 2017. It's an interesting trail that's not too busy especially on weekdays. There are multiple places to park and ride so you can plan a short or longer trip....More

I walked this trail in November but returned to it in February. The trail is used by bikers, walkers, runners, old and young. I spooked a deer while waking. Ample wildlife. Close to Epic and the nearby hotels. Worth every minute outside. Clean.

I know where it starts, and I know where it ends, but I confess to have only been on it near this attraction of Blue Mounds State Park. You can ride or walk or run (if you are really into self-abuse) the entire 40-mile length...More

Should be no problem. Just make sure you have a trail permit. You can get on at various areas on the trail or Millers in Verona I know has them.
