I know where it starts, and I know where it ends, but I confess to have only been on it near this attraction of Blue Mounds State Park. You can ride or walk or run (if you are really into self-abuse) the entire 40-mile length...More

its a chance to get out and take a walk or bike ride down a trail and see nature and wildlife, get fresh air and get outside for a work out

Yes it was a little windy this weekend but the trial was great! The wooded area sheltered me from the wind! Peaceful and beautiful on of my favorite places. So glad I live in the Town of Verona!

The trail isn't always in the best shape depending on weather and other conditions. It's gravel. As the trail meanders around, sometimes it's very close to the highway and other times, it's pleasantly rural. It's gravel, so, if it's rained recently..., expect a lot of...More

Great, safe place to run or bike. I mostly run east or west, but sometimes I bike to Mt. Horeb. Beware no water on the trail so go prepared to take your own.

Wonderful bike trail. Not paved but very hard surface. Each biking with nice shaded areas. Not much standing water even after a rainy month.

Great recreational bike trail built on an abandoned rail bed. It is hard packed dirt/gravel but very easy to bike b/c of the low grades. Beautiful scenery makes you believe that you are biking through a 'Rural Wisconsin Calendar.' Riley's Tavern (6 miles west of...More

This is a fairly adequately maintained trail that we rode from the connecting trail by Governor Dodge State Park then east. This is kind of a rustic trail. There are a few areas where the hills may be challenging to young or inexperienced riders.

Should be no problem. Just make sure you have a trail permit. You can get on at various areas on the trail or Millers in Verona I know has them.
