Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First of all this place is awesome. Me and me besties favorite thing is the staff. The lifeguards to be specific. We enjoyed pushing the lifeguards into the water from the doc. We enjoyed them doing that to us. We enjoyed having competitions with them when everyone left. The break is short, about 15min. It’s better after that because everyone starts clearing out. I’m glad they put precautions by have you doing a swim test. The slides that they provide are great, very fun. I 100% suggest this place. Have a great time with friends and family.

I took my grandkids here last summer and we all had a blast! It's a man-made swimming hole with lots of sandy beach and benches. It has changing rooms, rest rooms and a snack bar. There are inflated slides and things for the kids to swim to, climb on, slide down and jump off. The lake is sectioned off into various areas, depending on the swimming abilities of the kids. There are many lifeguards keeping an eye on the swimmers. It's a very clean, unique place and everyone will have fun here!

Nice family friendly swimming hole. Very clean Beach. Water inflatables good for all ages. Reasonably priced. Can bring in your own chairs and cooler (no alcohol or glass).

Our grandsons, ages 4 and 6, enjoy going to Troll Beach. One side of the pond has shallow water so they can play without fear. Beach sand is a little coarse but makes good castles etc. There are a slide, water slide and toys. The other side of the pond is deep and has a big slide. We paid $90 for a summer family pass and feel it was worth the cost. Downside: hours are 12:00 - 5:00.

Kids love the floating inflatable slides. Water clean, inexpensive snacks, a bit of shade for Grandma, we're all set for an afternoon. Not pricey, not overly crowded. Good spot to relax.

This beach has it's postives and negatives. If you like crystal clear water, this place is not for you. You cannot see the bottom. If you like a lake atmosphere with inflatable water slides etc., and sand you will enjoy it. Just recently they had to drain the pond because a child was missing and you can't see the bottom as you can in an inground pool. No child was to be found thank goodness!

This is a nice alternative to an outdoor pool; lots of sand and inflatables to play with. My main complaint is that the sand is pretty coarse; finer sand would make for a more pleasant experience.

Different than the pools all around the area!! A man made swimming hole with lots of inflatables. The kiddie area is 3 ft deep...and after passing a swim test the deep end is full of inflatables for the teens. A sandy beach is around the hole for kids to play in and make sand castles.
Located just off of Main St. Also has a little concession stand for snacks.

This is a man-made beach that offers a whole bunch of water and sand related activities. They have a lifeguard surrounding the beach about every 20 feet. You can also take a swim test to go in the "deep end" I would recommend Troll Beach for any one.

My grandkids love this place. Sand, slides, and lots of kids. A fun summer play place. Plan on a shower when you get home to wash away the sand.

I tried to answer this question, but Trip Advisor won't let me send the url for the web site. But you can type in "troll beach, stoughton, wi" and it should be the first site on the list. Hope this helps.
