This trail is best done by bike. I walked on it but it is not really designed for hikers. The trails go along the Wisconsin and Plover Rivers

This is a great gem of this community. Can be used all year round and is a great place for exercise or just to get away from the world for a bit. Recommended dosage is to use daily.

The Green Circle is a great path for a bike trip. The gravel path has enough twists, turns and hills for a bit of a thrill, yet very family friendly. Some of the trail leads along the Plover River, which was especially beautiful with early...More

I maybe should have given it a 4 because of confusion with signage that said there was a detour, but we stayed on the trail and encountered no problems. But we really enjoyed this circuitous trail around Stevens Point area. It has a variety of...More

Quite the trail ! A couple of times though I wasn't sure where to continue the trail as it gets broken up a little bit when you're in the city but it is very scenic, interesting, lots of wildlife and nature. I've seen beautiful birds...More

Great routes for biking on road and through parks with options for stopping along the way. Routes go through Schmeekle Reserve and near the university. Options for stopping to grab a bite to eat and/or drink are great!

The trail is must do if you like to walk or bike thru nature. The trail is wide, clean and a safe journey thru woods or all around the city of Stevens Point and Plover. Get a map and pick out your route!! Enjoy!

No. The recent rains were not as heavy in Central Wisconsin so much as Southeastern Wisconsin. We did get hit in June with a bit of rain and heavy winds. We have had time to clean up after that. The trails are... More

The trail around lake Jonas is 1 mile of good level trail with lots of benches to rest. Depending on the direction you start if someone has difficulties you can get a easy car pickup at about .6 Miles or .4 miles.
