This is a relatively small museum and there aren't a huge number of sleds but I believe they are in the process of expanding. The facility is just a little outside St Germain and you will see a sign with some flags beside the main road at the driveway entrance. There is a small gravel parking lot out front and... More

You can see some real history. Here they have some really cool sleds. It is free... just a donation.

This is a small and local museum. Focusing on local culture, memorabilia from various time periods. The reason for the museum is that one of the local fellows invented the prototype snowmobile and it is on display along with other versions and models. Interesting in that respect. The rest of the museum is a potpourri of donations of animal mounts,... More

Tons of history, details and lots to learn here. A great selection of trophies and industry news, benchmarks and some relic machines too. Real classics. This is clearly someone's passion!

We live here in the snowmobile capital of the "World" ..I love to see both the old and the new. When We visit the Museum we love to see the real old sleds..and chat with the folks that work so hard to allow us to walk threw.

My husband was more excited than I about visiting this museum. He was able to find the kind of helmet that he used to wear and a sled that was similar to the one his parent's used to own. He was really excited about that. There are a HUGE variety of snowmobiles that span several decades. It was really fun... More

I stumbled upon this place online while planning a little family getaway to Minocqua. We were so happy to have found this gem of a place. Our whole family loved it and having been telling others ever since that's it's a must see if traveling through that area!
