The ski resort is right next to the highway and the mountain ranges aren't too big, they're more like hills. But the lifts are placed very conveniently and each slope is pretty wide so it should be okay even for beginners. I didn't see any...More

Just a short update since my first review in 2015.... Aside from the resort being MOBBED on the Sunday of President's Day Weekend, our skiing/boarding experience was great. We skied Devil's Head the day before, and we all concur Cascade is better---better runs, better snow,...More

Love Love love this place. It’s great because kids ski free, you can switch skis and snowboard to let the kids try both without additional fees. Staff is excellent for helping. You can bring your own snacks in. Wonderful vacation every year

This was the place my wife's family took me to ski for the first time. It was a great place to learn with a number of runs for those just starting out. Now that I have a clue, there are a large number of runs...More

Considerate of the geographic location, Cascade is about as good an all-around ski experience as you can hope for in the mid-west. We've been visiting since the 1980's and the addition of high speed quad's means lots of opportunity for skiing. Evening hours are the...More
