Great old buildings... old homes from 1800's, old barns, tractors, train and depot with some pretty well informed history buffs giving tours. Showing you how it was like to live back then cooking ,cleaning ,gardening and making clothing. Great small living history exhibit not as impressive as "Old World Wisconsin" but not bad for the small scale size that it... More

I have enjoyed my visits to Pioneer Village. The community has done a great job with the restoration of a wide selection of historic buildings and farm equipment. We recently held our 4-H photography meeting there where members had a chance to explore the village along with getting some unique photos.

This place is a historically valuable landmark filled with many interesting structures and tools and the like. Spaeths Blacksmith shop , Cedarburg Train station , and many more fabulous buildings are a real must see destination for kids and adults

Very interesting especially on the old stem days. I also enjoy the feel of the building especially the blacksmith the whole time you are there you feel like you are stepping back in time.

This is a great place to learn about the history of Ozaukee County. During the open season (May to October typically), you can take a tour on the weekends, or go there when they have special events so that you can tour the buildings and take in a reenactment, bluegrass festival autumn festival, or antique tractor show. They have one... More

I have lived near this place my entire life and it brings a real rustic feel to the countryside. Every year there are festivals and Pioneer Village brings many people to our area. The one thing I enjoy the most is the Civil War Weekend. The admission is minimal and Pioneer Village is also connected to a very nice picnic... More

We are from out of state and were visiting family in the area and found out about Pioneer Village's Autumn Harvest Days event online. We arranged to meet up with some old friends and their children. We had a wonderful time touring the homes and buildings. They did a wonderful job of having special activities in almost all the homes/buildings...... More

What a pleasant way to spend an afternoon! We took advantage of the "free" Open House day at Pioneer Village with our kids and grandkids. It was an enjoyable afternoon filled with demonstrations and activities for everyone. I enjoyed "racing" my granddaughter in the Sack Race..........the kids loved the stations set up for making a "period" craft and we all... More

Very enjoyable site with about 20 different buildings from around 1850 like a school, blacksmith, trainstation, etc. $6 entrance for adults. Also fun for kids.
