Spotted cow has been my favorite beer for quite a while now. I love the idea of the employee owned company, and the fact it is only sold in Wisconsin. We visited the brewery on a gray cold day, and it was still great. I...More

We went there to spend the lunch and early afternoon with friends and family. Great atmosphere and beer. They had a pair of Alpenhorns playing that day in the main courtyard. We toured the brewery after lunch. The place is spotless.

It’s a bit strange place. It’s like a movie set without any originality. Samples only. No Raspberry Tart available which was the beer I came here for. I was disappointed. The village of New Glarus was more interesting than the brewery... unfortunately.

We spent an afternoon there and loved it. The view is gorgeous and they have lots of tables outside to enjoy a beer. The self guided tour gave us a behind the scenes look at their impressive facility. There are a couple places to buy...More

Nice place to visit, sample brews, and hang out on the patio in good weather. We only did the walking tour, but would love to return for the hard-hat tour at 1p.m. Very clean, very modern brewery.

Stopped by on the way back to Madison from Cave of the Mounds because we're fans of New Glarus beers. It's about a 20-30 minute drive off Hwy 18 through scenic farmland and small towns. Eight bucks gets you three 4 oz samplers from a...More

Being from a hour away, we wouldn't go back for the beer. Local bars had a much better selection of the beer on tap for less. However, beautiful and picturesque location. Great place to enjoy the beer they do have on tap if the weather...More

What is the age limit to come here? Could I bring my almost 17 year old and 15 year old nieces? They would not try the beer or anything.

Yes! They do allow dogs on the beautiful back patio area! They even had water bowls out for your furry friend if they get thirsty! Enjoy!
