The oldest structure in Milwaukee that dates back to the early 15th century (circa 1420). The heart of the Catholic and Jesuit university community of Marquette University. Services and tours available. Educational and Interesting time line from 1420's untill it's arriving in Milwaukee 1966.

Very interesting to see and it's free. A historical building from the 15th century. Simple but solid.

PROS: free short tour; great pieces inside- there is the stone of St Joan; there is even a tomb top on the floor of a French knight! CONS: may be difficult to find parking for it.

Visited this site during Doors Open Milwaukee. Had never heard of it before. Very interesting story surrounding the move from Europe and background of the tiny, centuries-old chapel. Even non-religious or non-Catholic people would feel moved and a sense of spirituality inside. Quite a thing,...More

This chapel was built in 1420 and was donated to Marquette University. Worth a quick trip to see it if you are in the area. We walked here from the Pabst Mansion.

Right in the middle of campus. Could be a nice quiet place for meditation. The story of how it came to Milwaukee is very interesting.

No cost to see and enjoy this gem of an attraction. There is usually a docent there to give a narrative of the chapel and the furnishings. The gardens nearby complement the experience and offer a peaceful place for... More
