Thank you for the very detailed review! Yes, horses and wagons were on the streets of Milwaukee even in the 1950s. Youngsters can only imagine the congestion with cars, bicycles, street cars, buses and horses all traveling on the roads. I wonder what things today...More

Neat place to visit. I was there for a "50th" birthday party. We were able to rent the museum out. We had catered food and brought beverages for the guests. Fun place to see in Milwaukee.

I am one of those that consider's "weird" a compliment, so thank you very much! An hour is enough time to see each exhibit in this large house, although many people explore longer than that. We definitely do love the work as the same people...More

Took a Sunday in December for a trip and was really impressed with the collection. Anyone that's in that early Boomer stage will enjoy walking through the house, a former doctor's office. I'll be bringing some friends back this year.

Our tour guide, Steve, the director, did a fabulous job of showing us the museum. I wanted our 11 year-old and his friend to see where things come from versus their push of a button modern existence. Very enjoyable!
