It's more like 3 parks and beach areas one after the other. Lot's of places to explore and walk the trails. Very scenic. My kids liked it a lot. We did not get in the water - some of it was black.

I am usually here for different events, so it is a bit crowded during that time. Generally, weather permitting, it is always pleasant to walk by the lake or just relax sitting in the shade.

Great park, stroller and dog friendly. Great views of the lake and downtown. Free parking is a plus. Looked like you could rent paddle boats and kites in the warmer months. Beautiful park!

I am not sure. We didn't have any intentions to grill, so I didn't ask. I didn't see any permanent grills in the areas I walked through.
