Harley-Davidson motorcycles bring heart-thumping adventure, life-changing...

Harley-Davidson motorcycles bring heart-thumping adventure, life-changing freedom and a bit of rebellion into the lives of people around the world. But whether you were born to be wild - or mild - makes no difference at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Much more than a nostalgia trip for motorcycle enthusiasts, the Museum offers a glimpse of American history and culture like you've never seen before - through the successes and trials of an iconic American company. Interactive, eye-catching exhibits present an unparalleled collection of legendary stories of our nation's last century.

Located on 20 acres in downtown Milwaukee, the Museum offers free parking, Motor Bary & Restaurant, Cafe Racer, The Shop, park-like outdoor spaces, special event rentals, guided tours for group of 15 or more, and Steel Toe Tours of the Powertrain Operations, home of the big-twin engine.

An amazing experience awaits visitors to the Harley Davidson Museum. Located just a stones throw from downtown Milwaukee, there is also plenty of free parking at the museum. There is a incredible collection of Harleys since 1903. If you are hungry you can also check out the biker eats at Motor and don't forget a stop in The Shop for... More

We went on "414 give back to Milwaukee day". I do enjoy the whole museum but especially like the bikes owned by the stars and ones from movies. The display of the bike that went through the tsunami was very interesting. Of course I'll go again!!

Visited with family! It's a must visit museum, especially if you have teenage boys who are interested in motorcycles!! We loved the place so much that we spent 4 hours more than what we planned! I strongly suggest taking the guided tour, although exploring yourself is fine too!! Don't miss the driver training if it's available, u will experience first... More

Spacious museum with lots of bikes on display. Very interesting history as Harley Davidson bikes have been very popular for civil uses (e.g. police, fire department) and military uses, which kept the company in the black during the Great Depression and World Wars. Very interesting info on racing bikes and personalized bikes too. Convenient location close to the bus/train station... More

The Harley-Davidson Museum was the best collection of old motorcycles I've been to. Most impressed with Harley-Davidson serial number 1. Can't believe they found it.

We happened to be in Milwaukee on Milwaukee Day and this was a great activity for the whole family. We learned about the company and history. The kids loved the audio tour.

I'm not a Harley person, but was in Milwaukee and thought this would be a fun place to check out. There are 3 floors that you can explore (I think we took a couple of hours). They take you through the history of the motorcycle and have displays of them throughout. There are also some interactive exhibits that were fun.... More

Great museum. Really enjoyed looking at the progression of the Harley bikes, and the on site restaurant had the most delicious jambalaya north of Louisiana.
