It's a free ferry that fits approximately 15 vehicles, crossing Lake Wisconsin from Merrimac to Lodi (and vice versa). It takes approximately 7.5 minutes to cross one way. During peak time- weekends in the summer, the line can be quite long, and you can expect...More

We love taking visitors from out of state or out of town on the ferry. It's nothing very exciting or a thrill ride by no means, but there is just something about it. Fun for the kids, fun for the adults, and fun for grandma...More

10 minute ride across Lake Wis and a short drive to Devil's Lake State Park. The Merrimac Ferry is a fun way to see the Lake. Get out of the car and enjoy the ride.

The Ferry layout is set up nicely with the traffic lanes. Not a super long ferry ride but it was smooth.

When you drive Highway 113 to Merrimac you come to the Wisconsin River. Instead of a bridge you drive onto a small ferry boat that takes you across to the other side. This ferry operates around the clock and is very efficient. The wait is...More

We have traveled the Merrimac Ferry often as we live close to it. It is definitely a destination place to go. There is ice cream and treats on both sides and nice restroom facilities on the Lodi side. It does tend to get busy on...More
