Our cruise stopped for the day in Manitowoc, and so we walked up 8th Street to the art museum. The air conditioning inside felt nice as soon as we entered. The main exhibit we wanted to see was their display of Marc Chagall's 1967 38-plate...More

We love the revolving art displays. During Christmas the house is fully trimmed and so beautiful. We visit nearly every time we go to Manitowoc.

Beautiful Victorian architecture, and a mixture of art styles exhibited in various pieces by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Georgia O'Keeffe, and others. If you're in Manitowoc for any reason, and you have a little extra time, you might as well check it out....More

They have a very nice collection of art, and on special times some very interesting place settings. I am sure there is something for all to enjoy.

This is a great place to visit if you're already in or near Manitowoc. Walking through the mansion is definitely worth it. It's really beautiful, even if you're not all that interested in the history behind it. The art gallery is pretty small, but worth...More

I live in Manitowoc, so I visit the Rahr-West Museum several times each year. I stopped on this occasion to see the traveling exhibit Documerica. It is great that the Rahr-West is able to bring these exhibits to our town. The exhibit was very interesting....More
