How can anyone rate an environmental cell terms anything hut five stars?

It's nice, it's free, great. In all likelihood I'll be back for smell reason some day. Kaukauna sucks, but this is the least sucky part.

This is a really unique and special place that really reaches out to the community to educate and engage. We have been there just to visit several times before, but this time came for Eagle Days presentation with a live Bald Eagle from The National Eagle Center in Minnnesota. The speaker really educated and engaged the Large crowd and young... More

The center has many types of birds, local animals, and exotic African animals ( taxidermy) to view. They have hands on exhibits, walking trails and eagle viewing areas. It's free but donations are appreciated.

Spent a couple hours walking the trails! 10 year old and 16 year old was along. Well marked with boardwalk to walk along the waters edge! Trails were icy but that's part of the season! Eagles were magnificent! We will return in spring! This is a place to experience every season! Indoor exhibits are great! Great place! The staff does... More

such a wonderful place to come with family, friends, or alone to enjoy nature. The trails are a relaxing way to enjoy nature without wading through grasses and underbrush. The nature center offers so much to see and experience.

We went out hoping to snowshoe but conditions were best suited to hiking boots. We parked up at the upper lot and went to the end of the property. Great views of the river and some elevation changes. Interesting historical marker about previous usage at the site. Lots of Canada geese out but did not see the usual eagles. Mostly... More

I have been here in the summer, fall and winter and it is a wonderful place for photography and quiet walks in the woods. Just a short walk from downtown Kaukauna is this little gem of a preserve. You may come across deer, wild turkeys, geese or ducks year around, and it is a winter nesting ground for Bald Eagles... More

This is a great place to visit and learn. Also take a nice walk/hike through nature. Winding through woods along the river, seeing many types of bird wild life, squirrels ,turtles and many othor animals. If you go during the spring you can see the fish spawning and jumping out of the water.
