Attended a wedding at Boerner last night. This is a very nice venue for a wedding. It was an evening wedding which was very nice. I can see a summer or fall daytime would be beautiful. The food was great from appetizers, dinner and the wedding cake. The caterer is excellent. If I had any concerns, is that they had... More

Enjoyed the silk and bamboo lighted figures. The dragon was amazing and the bridge covered with flowers.

Wow! This was one really cool attraction. It's so popular it was extended. The sculptures were stunning. Every sculpture was built on site, and hand painted onto silk fabric. If this comes to your town, make an effort to see it. You won't be disappointed.

Although I could not see the gardens, we did go to the special exhibit called China Lights! It was phenomenal and when I watched the exhibit to see how it was constructed and put together-even more impressive. We were there the last weekend so some of the lights were burnt out. Parking was a mess and it took a long... More

Went and saw the chinese lights, what a wonderful sight, very worth the trip and the shuttle ride to and from. The lights at night were awesome and the bridge of lanterns amazing when you think of all the time spent making them. Great value and family fun.

My adult daughter and I spent several hours strolling through this beautiful light display on a Saturday night. It was a bit crowded until after the 8pm stage show. Then it cleared out considerably and we revisited a couple of our favorite exhibits. We each had a couple veggie rolls from the food booths; they were a tasty snack. I... More

We traveled to Hales Corners to see the China Lights display running in September and October. It was fabulous and I highly recommend going to see it if you get a chance. We arrived before dusk so we could see the sculptures and stayed until dark to fully appreciate the lighting. Made of silk on armatures with lighting, it was... More

The four stars are for the beautiful China Lights display hosted at Boerner Botanical Gardens. I would probably give the garden itself 2-3 stars, but it is hard to judge it fairly when some parts were closed and the plant life is dwindling for the season. We drove up from Chicagoland to see the China Lights. The light displays were... More

What a waste of time! Long lines and so crowded you can't move just to see some LED light displays. Very disappointed. Three hours of my life that I will never get back.
