Easy trail. Exceptional overview. Ample parking. Unlike some of the areas more primitive parks that have more rugged trails with steeper hikes, this trail is pretty easy and do able for those who may have some mobility challenges. Looking for something more rugged check out Door Bluff Headlands Park.

The Ellison Bay Bluff County Park is a nice spot with great views. The area is quite beautiful and there are some nice hiking trails. If you are in Door County and prefer nature to shopping and visiting wineries this is a nice alternative.

It was hard to find this place, but eventually we found it. Once there, we knew why this place attracted to many people. It’s a perfect vista to watch the sun go down. Most of the people here had cameras and were taking pictures vigorously. It was truly amazing! If I lived here, I would be going to this place... More

We were headed North on Highway 42 and just happened to catch the sign for this County Park. We took a quick detour from the days plans and ended up staying awhile. Just the right size for a nice, mild, hike around the looped trail and the drive into the park is absolutely stunning. You meander through tunnels of trees... More

We stopped by the park on a very cold and gusty day for September. It was a little scary with the Winds coming off the bay at what seemed like 35 mph. It has such a beautiful view from atop the bluff.

What a nice surprise! The county parks in Door County are free. This one was worth the short drive in the woods. There is a bit of a climb down to the viewing spot. Mostly wooden steps but also rock and dirt. Be careful! It was slippery when we were there.

It's a beautiful spot to get a Birdseye view. It's quite a freaky experience to walk out on the ledge and be taller than the treetops. Beautiful photo opportunity. We were able to watch the rain roll in from accross the lake.

Beautiful drive to the park. Short hike with some stairs to the overlook to see the cliffs, not handicap accessible. Some hiking trails through the park. We brought a picnic lunch, we had to eat in the car because it was very windy and cool.

The view from the bridgewalk looking out over the bay is spectacular. We watched a storm slowly roll in out over the bay. The views are incredible but be advised if you hate heights it may be a tad scary! This is a stop you must make when visiting door county. I would think the colors in fall would only... More
