The park and zoo are always being updated. There are hiking trails, 4 playgrounds, exotic animals, birds and a petting zoo, tennis courts, a volleyball pit and several large and small picnic areas. We also enjoy the scenic views.

Awesome Christmas lights! Horse drawn wagon ride is the best! I’d never seen the lights and to take the ride was so fun. You can walk or drive through as well. Either is fun, too!

Irvine Park is a great family visit in any season. The new zoo facilities are fun for all family members. There are plenty if picnic areas, places to walk, run, bike or just meander. The Holiday lighting is always a beautiful tradition for all ages...More

The closing time is 8:00 pm. It is posted around the park and there are gates in strategic places where they close the park. I was there today and the new Welcome Center was not open yet. Saying mid-June. But the... More

Yes the park is open and you can have dogs as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. They don't allow them in the animal buildings as it may upset the animals.
