Walk and feed the Alpacas while staying in a beautiful cosy cabin.
Just back from my 4th stay in Waterfall Alpaca Farm. My friend and I stayed two nights in the gorgeous cosy cabin. Emma & Marcus are excellent hosts they have the place beautifully done and have thought of everything. There is tea and coffees, pots and pans, cutlery and plates, books and games. My friend & I did the Alpaca walk down to the waterfall and it was so lovely. The Alpacas are beautiful and very well behaved. The waterfall itself is breathtaking. It was great to feed the Alpacas and the rabbits. We also got to see their hens, chicks and the two Shetland ponies. I return here every year and each stay is always 5 stars. I am back in two weeks time for a stay with my nephew and am counting down to it already.

Great experience, stunning surroundings and friendly owners
Myself and a friend visited Waterfall Farm this week and absolutely loved it. Owner Emma couldn’t have been more accommodating with our last minute booking, very kindly and swiftly responding to my queries as well as giving directions. Truly a family run business with Emma’s husband Marcus and son Ruben leading us on our walk. I got to walk the lovely Alpaca Oisin while Ruben told us a bit more about the farm and surrounding area. The walk itself was beautiful, from the river bed to the waterfall and landscape views that seemed to go on forever, it’s a gorgeous part of the country. Once the walk was finished Emma brought us to meet and feed the giant rabbits as well as the other alpacas. We were given further info on the history of alpacas which was very interesting to hear. You can really see how each animal on the farm is genuinely loved and cared by the family. Every member of the family knew each animals personality, likes and dislikes so have real love for each and every one of them. Overall was a great afternoon and I’d recommend it for all ages. Big thanks to Emma, Marcus and Ruben.

    Great experience
Absolutely lovely way to spend an hour or two. We arrived a little early and were given a proper tour of the farm and all the animals. Lovely walk and the Alpacas are wonderful. One of our favorite stops on the whole island.

Had a great time on an alpaca walk and farm tour with our 9 year old. Luca was an excellent guide - he has a very gentle and calm manner and is so knowledgeable about alpacas. The walk was magical - the countryside there is quite beautiful and the rivers are breath-taking. The alpacas are real characters too. We really enjoyed visiting with them.
The best part of Waterfall Farm is that all the animals are obviously cherished and well taken care of.

What a lovely humbling experience!
Brought our 4 kids aged 10 upto 18 and such a lovely time had by us all especially the teenagers. We brought MacaPaca Cuscu Ziggy and Oisin for their evening trail walk. The alpacas are such beautiful animals so gentle and intelligent and it was very apparent that this wasn't a commercial venture but a genuine love held by this family Emma Marcus and Ruben for these beautiful animals. A lovely lifetime memory for your children. Highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nights with 4 boys (aged 5, 6, 7 &10). It's an outdoor boys haven! Loved the interaction with all the animals, even the cheeky clever cat! The river walk was beautiful did it twice a daily... always spotting something new. We cycled to Castledonovan. (Quiet and Safe road). Hosts very welcoming and informative but gave us plenty space to enjoy our own family time.

A wonderful visit and perfect for young children!

We really enjoyed our visit and Luca's tour was tremendously enjoyable and informative! Our preschooler really enjoyed touching the animals and feeding them. The waterfall walk was a real highlight and is breathtakingly beautiful!

We also walked over to Castle Donovan from the farm and enjoyed looking around the ruin.

We highly recommend this outing!

Headed here as part of a trip heading towards Kerry and found this place on Google maps. It was great, from bunnies to feed, and donkeys to pet and of course the star of the show the alpacas. Feeding the females with great names such and walking the boys on a lovely path what a waterfall next to you. The hosts Emma and Martin were great very friendly and a lovely time was had

We visited Waterfall Alpaca farm where we got to meet all the beautiful Alpacas. They were cared for excellently and clearly loved very much. Emma the owner gave us loads of information about Alpacas including their origins from Peru. There were some other beautiful animals to meet there also but the alpacas are the highlight. Unfortunately, there were too many of us to bring the alpacas for a walk but we did the route ourselves and it was beautiful.
