Interesting little museum. They give the history of the acquisition of the collection, which was very interesting to read about. I loved the textile exhibition and how it was presented. They have some very nice pieces there! I recommend visiting while in Beloit!

The Logan is a treasure for those interested in anthropology and archeology. It is also valuable for those interested in ancient Native American life. It is free, fascinating, and easy to get to. Plan several hours there. I only wish I was closer.

This is a stop truly worth your time if you have an interest in anthropology. The museum is small but the exhibits are rare and educational.

I took my grandkids here when they were visiting for something different to do as we always try and do educational things as well, and they loved it. So many things to see and look at. Was just very cool

Located on the campus of Beloit College the Logan Museum of Antropology has a wide and varied collection of artifacts from around the world. The sad part is museum should be double or triple the size so a person can properly view all the items in the collection. It was a shock to see so many items from so many... More

The best part about it is the students curate the collections as part of their studies. I made me want to go back to school myself! I especially liked the room which had so much displayed in the round. To be able to see that much of the collection is really rather special.

A good way to spend an hour or two on the Beloit College campus in a unique nineteenth century building exploring items from around the world. The building was originally built as a shrine to veterans of Beloit that lost their lives in the civil war.

Beloit College is the site of many very evident mounds from native peoples of this area. The anthropology museum not only has a large collection from this period, but from many major cultures that only larger museums have. It is the case that three times the space would be necessary to fully display and label all the items. Yet, there... More

So, put it in context: this is not an attraction to draw you off the highway. But if you happen to be in Beloit with an hour to kill, it's decent and free. An old church with attached academic building, the museum is set in the church and it contains an interesting, somewhat small collection of artifacts from a selection... More

Vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling displays. The collection that I was able to see before the fire alarm went off ranged from pre-Colombian to Native American, to African and New Guinean tribal masks. I was almost finished after 30 minutes but only got to the main exhibit hall before I was evacuated. Fun adventure.
