The water is crystal clear. We hike here all the time. They have canoe and boat rentals. Great place for family picnics. Overall the best state park I've been to.

Devil's Lake (called Spirit Lake by the Ho-Chunk) is a magical place to visit. This is a beautiful, natural lake formed by the glaciers. The lake is deep, the bluffs surrounding the lake are high. In the middle of August when it is HOT the...More

I have the good fortune of living very close to Devil's Lake State Park. This park has something for everyone, hiking, water activities, picnic tables, gift shop, canoes and kayaks and camp sites. If you get the chance to visit for the day or the...More

There are some great views here. The park is beautiful and well maintained. For the most part everyone is friendly and considerate. That being said— I’ll likely never return. There are SO many people. Though I enjoyed the views getting there was less than enjoyable......More

Nothing can describe how beautiful this State park is. If you like to see the fall colors you will enjoy it here. Swimming is still top notch in the summer and hiking is incredible all year. If you want to visit something special that God...More

It's easy to see why Native American mounds are found here. It's good they remain intact and marked for visitors. The campgrounds are well maintained for the many campers who come in the summer. We were here in fall to enjoy hiking the trails, viewing...More

Loved this park! The views from the rocks are awesome and the hiking was great - some of it is steep and rocky making some places a little challenging, but it was worth it. Great facilities.

You don't find much better hiking. Difficult to find and available campsite but got lucky for a late October weekend.

Camped and visited here for many years. You can reserve sites 11 months ahead of time and need to for weekends in the summer. Lake is nice for swimming and boating (no motor).

While on vacation in Wisconsin Dells, we took a short drive to Devil's Lake State Park. The fall colors were almost at their peak and the lake reflected their color magically. (I thought I submitted my review yesterday.)
