The Old White TPC gets the tour attention. The Greenbrier has the history. But the Meadows Course is a genuine pleasure that golfers if all skills can enjoy. Play it from the correct tees, and you'll drink in the parkland scenery while getting an appropriate challenge. Fairways have generous landing areas. Bunkers are correctly placed to require accurate second shots.... More

Everybody told us to play the Old White but we are 19 handicap and this was a pleasure trip, so we chose the Meadows. It is beautiful, of course, and very relaxing. It is a bit boring. It is rated 120 from the white, but my home course, in Arizona, rated 112, is actually much harder. If you want to... More

This is the only playable course at The Greenbrier suitable for average golfers. It's in good condition. However, autumn conditions meant we spent a long time looking for balls, even in the fairways.

A beautiful day, with rolling, well tended fairways and fair greens....a perfect combination for any golfer to enjoy themselves. My husband is a 2 handicap and I'm a 24....both of us found the 18 hole round to be fun as well as challenging, without the frustration that accompanied other courses we have played.... After the round we had drinks in... More

The Meadows is the least difficult of the 3 courses at The Greenbrier, but it will test the game of players of all levels. There are some interesting uphill holes. There are holes on both sides of Route 60. Numbers 11 starts beside the Sporting Club (private club and residential area), and number 12 brings you back. Howard's Creek runs... More

Very nice course, we had rain for our first three days and the courses were closed. They opened on our third day there and I could not believe how quick they got the course back in great shape! The views from the course are fantastic. The hotel discounted the greens fee by $50 due to the previous rain. The staff... More

Played in a United Way Tournament there, beautiful course, well maintained, pricey on beverages...but it is "THE GREENBRIER" and only one of their beautiful 3 to 4(Sporting Club) courses...valley views and mountain views are awesome...I am now looking forward to play it again and then the OLD WHITE course...I mean 2 of the top 100 courses in USA in the... What a wonderful course. The greens were super fast! Staff is beyond wonderful! The weather that day was a bit cold, but the course and the people were so great that we still had a wonderful time!

First, let me say write up front I am a golf snob. I get to play the best courses in the world. This course is fine and some interesting holes but this is at best rated 400-750 in my top golf courses in the world. So if you play, make sure your expectations are properly set. I played this with... More

My wife just started playing golf 3 years ago, and she loved it. No trouble in front of any of the greens.
