There are houses in my neighborhood that have better lights than Oglebay. There are no parts of the experience with lights synchronized to music. There aren't really all that many lights considering the acreage of the place. It was not worth the $20 they asked...More

To truly enjoy Oglebay, plan om spending the day there. Many things to see if your interested and spend a few bucks to tour the home and glass museum. Watch the glass blower at work and be sure to ask him questions.

We had a great time. We went with friends and our 8 year old son and made a day of travel from northeast Ohio. Totally worth it!! Wished there had been snow but still best to see all of the lights! Best advice go early...More

Went to Oglebay this weekend and stayed in one of the cabins with family which included 2 toddlers and a baby. Our cabin was very nice with plenty of firewood and room for all 12 of us. Parking at the cabin was simple and easy....More

We drove 3 hrs to come see the fantastic lights at oglebay. We were disappointed there wasn't much lights. We came down 10 yrs ago and I think there where more lights then. Very disappointed wouldn't drive that far again to see lights....

The Oglebay lodging was booked, so we were not able to stay on the grounds. Not sure if that would have helped my review or not. It was clearly not what my husband and I expected to see after driving three hours to get there....More

It can take about 45min to one hour to go through the last and enjoy them.

Yes I believe they charge $20 a car to drive thru the lights. If u stay at resort u get a pass included with your stay. Make sure if u do not stay at resort u go to Wilson lodge and walk thru it. It is beautifully decorated... More

Yes. They did have a laundry room at the Lodge for guests to use. I didn't check on how much a wash/dry cost.
