When visiting the Oglebay park pool for the first time I was baffled by the changing and restroom facilities. They were very outdated and dirty for a place that tries to call itself a “resort”. The floors were haphazardly painted with what I hope was...More

There weren't too many people here when we stopped in to check out the view. There are a couple museum/shops near the view area and we scurried out of the way of a wedding party stopping in for photos. We were in town over Memorial...More

The family loaded into two vans and drove through the Festival of Lights in Wheeling's Ogelbay Park. The 6 miles of light displays were festive and we even had some snow to add to the experience. Definitely a fun way to spend the evening.

We drove almost 4 hours for the Christmas light show. It may be a bit harsh but we could almost see just as many lights in our neighborhood. The line was painfully long to get in and the show was not to music, there were...More

My wife and I enjoyed a mid week stay at the Oglebay lodge. The staff was friendly and attentive at the restaurants, the room was lovely (clean and with nicely carved wood design elements) and the experience was one that we would happily repeat. The...More

WE stayed in an older room in the Ogelbay Lodge. Old but with an updated bathroom, and very clean. The resort is vey big with lots of areas to walk. Very pretty with tulips by the hilltop buildings. I would go back again.

Yes. They did have a laundry room at the Lodge for guests to use. I didn't check on how much a wash/dry cost.
