A great deal of American glassware is on display at this mid-sized museum in downtown Weston, and it's free. Very friendly staff, and I think they are all or mostly volunteers. I wish they would have had a little more historical information or dating of the various displays, but still very much worth seeing.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we decided to visit. We were amazed at the amount and diversity of the exhibits. One gentleman took the time to answer our questions re glass history of WV.

If you ever had a great aunt pull out the 'special' glassware in your childhood, then you'll probably see it here. Gorgeous displays, artfully arranged, with facts and historical notes, this place is a must see and it might be a trip down memory lane for you. I had to go back twice.

I'm shocked by the huge amounts of glass with historical significance in this small town, The collections donated and displayed are absolutely amazing.

Absolutely loved this place. Was in Weston to see the Trans Allegheny Asylum and we stumbled upon this museum. So glad we did. The amount of glass and the various collections were amazing. From the way the glass was displayed to the types of glass and all the beautiful colors it was visually very appealing. And to top it off... More

A wonderful representation of the glass made in the eastern part of our country from the late 1800s to today. If you love glass, you will not want to miss this free museum. It contains some gorgeous pieces. It also has a library with lots of books for research and a gift shop where you can make purchases.

This is a small town gem. The Glass Industry in Central WV was a thriving industry till 1980 when the U.S. Government lifter the import glass tax. These local volunteers have amassed a thorough collection from glass factories all over WV and Eastern USA. The colors are gorgeous and many, many unusual pieces. You will enjoy your visit ( free)... Take the time, about 45 min and see truly the best exhibit of American made glass...so many manufacturers! Kind staff who encourage you to enjoy.

Just a tremendous amount of glass, and a nice research library to boot. If you're a glass collector, it's well worth the visit.

Very nice place to stop to get local honey and veggies. Also you can watch them blow glass and pick up a nice piece of glass along the way.
