The facility is immense but shows its age. Maintenance and routine upkeep would cost a fortune, so be prepared to see a unique facility as though it was shutdown some 20+ years ago. Our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

They offer many different tours here. We took the 4 floor 90 min tour($30) which told of the history of the asylum. There is a shorter tour $10 for 30 min. There are also tours the deal more with the haunting of the building.

I enjoyed the tour. However certain areas were segregated to only certain tours. Staff was very informative and helpful.

We took the 90 tour of four floors. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The building ranges from the interesting to the spooky. Well worth it.
