I didn't feel like sitting in a dorm room all day while it was so nice outside. I walked across campus and entered the WVU Arboretum. There were lots of brochures about the trails, flora, and birds at the entrance to the Arboretum. If you...More

Our family enjoys taking brief hikes here at least a couple times a year. Easy access and open, easy to walk trails make it great for kids- or just a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Morgantown traffic.

The Arboretum is beautiful any time of the year; however, it is especially lovely in late Spring and early Summer when the many flowers are in full bloom.

When you are walking along the paths, you quickly forget that you are in a city. Some paths are easy strolls while others will increase your heart rate. Save some energy to walk back up the hill!

Bring your walking shoes or hiking boots. Many steep, primitive trails and interesting flora and fauna. Bicycles allowed on service road to rail trail.

Parking was close, but odd to get to from town. Trails marked and with info. Maps available . can be steep . Will do again at different time of year.

Went here expecting just paved easy walking trails & was pleasantly surprised. There were several trails that all intertwined. A few even had a pretty decent incline. Pretty views with lots of trees and wildflowers. Would recommend this spot!

This was not a arboretum. It's a walk in the woods with hiking trails. They had very little "trees" with little signs on them to tell you what trees they were. Would not consider this an arboretum at all.
