It was worth following the trail but you need to pay attention to the signs. It's easy to go by some of them. This review is 5 stars because of the stop at where the McCoy house was burnt down. Neil is so knowledgeable and...More

It is packed with beautiful scenery! We went to bearwallow trail and it had a little of everything! There are hard and easy trails! If you can go you should! Get a permit at local gas stations or online.

My brother and I took a road trip and stopped at many of the H&M historical sites. Be sure to stop at the McCoy Well and talk to the neighbor Neil for a ton of insight on the historical happenings!

Visited HM trails for the first time last weekend. It was cold and poured the rain down on our first day. The trails were extremely slick with deep mud, which made the hairpin turns (with the serious drop offs on one side) very scary. No...More
