We are a small, family-owned winery, crafting ultra-premium, true-to-varietal wine in Yakima, WA. For us, wine evokes community, hospitality, and beauty. Celebrate these qualities with us at our downtown Yakima wine tasting room or at The Hackett Ranch, our new event and live music destination. The downtown tasting room features wine by the taste, glass or bottle. Our wine club is flexible and offers 20% off our wines. We also offer gourmet cheese plates all day. Join us for live music on First Fridays or check our events calendar for upcoming special events. Cheers!

Nice wine and friendly staff

We have visited for appetizers and wine tasting and taken friends for tasting. Great friendly staff that helped us find concerts and other activities around the area.

This was a thoroughly unpleasant visit as our 2nd stop on the Wine Yakima Valley Spring Barrel Tasting weekend. I'm really sorry we stopped there. First, one of the requirements of the event was that tasters bring their own glasses. OK, this being our first time taking part in this event, we forgot to bring ours. At Kana Winery (the... More

4th generation orchardist does a great job on his wines and venue. The basement cellar is a great place for office parties and receptions. Located right at the corner of No Front Street and East Yakima Avenue. You will feel the buzz before you tast the wine!!

This wine is wacko! Some really odd twinges on the end. Highly acidic and heavy sulfur! My wife and I tasted 2 of the whites and 4 of the Reds. And they're reserve was 52.00 a bottle and it was something I wouldn't serve my enemies! Trust me please. I get wine is a matter of taste, but this was... More

Boutique wines. They make pretty good wines, especially their rose and reds. I recommend their 2013 Horse heaven Hills Cab, Left Bank and Allobroges.

Stumbled on this tasting room during folklife. The live music was and atmosphere superb - the wine was pretty good, not great.

We were referred to Gilbert Cellars by an investment adviser friend familiar with the winery. We arrived at 6:35 pm (open till 7) and were told we could not do a tasting, only glass pours, with no explanation. I dare say the 3 people in front of us spent more time there drinking glasses of wine than we would have... More

We're sad to learn that you didn't have a great time in our tasting room! From your review, it seems as though you visited us on a weeknight. Currently, our policy is that last call for tastings is a half hour before close, which allows our customers to enjoy themselves freely, without feeling rushed. We apologize if that policy wasn't... We stopped in Yakima for a short visit and found Gilbert Cellars for a quick wine tasting. The wine is amazing and the tasting was great. We highly recommend this place for wine tasting and a definite wine purchase. Stands up with the best of them!

Great place to unwind, either in their up-stairs wine tasting room, or down-stairs while enjoying live music in a "music-cave" with your favorite Malbec.

Granted, we stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon, so they weren't busy at all, but Kelly still made our tasting experience memorable! She was very knowledgable on their various wines. Their cab and port were both quite delicious! We ended up buying a couple of bottles and came very close to joining their wine club. After our wonderful tasting, Kelly... More
