Lived in WA all our lives and have never seen it until last weekend. What a surprise--well worth the drive to see it. Had its own resident flock of turkeys, too.

Best in spring most likely, but impressive nevertheless. Decent trails around the top and to the bottom. Not much nearby to enjoy other than a couple other parks, which are nice too.

We particularly headed to Palouse Falls late pm to see the sunset. It wasn't very busy at this time of day. You need a pass to park in the carpark- $10 for a day or $30 for annual pass I think. The waterfall is impressive-...More

The falls were beautiful and the hike was really a hike. Well worth it for sure. I can't believe I have lived in Spokane my whole life and never been there. Will be returning for sure.

Friends suggesting visiting the Palouse Falls just north of Dayton and Walla Walla, Washington. The Falls are located a few miles off the main highway. It was an unusually warm day so the green spaces with grass and running sprinklers felt like a welcoming oasis....More

I combined the tour of Spokane and Falls. Great experience for first timer. Use the country road to go Palouse Falls so you could watch great scene. Huge farms with greenery like the wallpaper.

I have been wanting to find this gem for a few years and this year was the time to go. No disappointment at all. Simply beautiful falls in the middle of no where. Amazed that it is such a busy little park. We arrived at...More

We traveled the back roads from Walla Walla north to the falls. We had the pleasure of seeing rolling wheat fields, in the middle of harvest and then the unique landscape of this part of Washington State. When you turn off Hwy 261 on to...More

The Falls are very nice and the landscape is fascinating. That said, think twice about investing a half day visiting the park. The road is not well maintained and needs to be graded, the park needs some routine maintenance, interpretation should be better, given the...More

We took 12 out of Walla Walla to 261 to the falls. What an incredible drive and you cannot imagine that there would be water let alone a beautiful waterfall in the middle of that landscape. The address on the website says it is located...More

Yes there is camping and that camp area is shaded with some of the only trees for miles. Very limited spots.

Trip adviser app has Google maps included. That's the best option. Most people drive south from Ritzville, but how to get there depends on where you start. I'd check the map.
